PLATINUM COMPLEX AND ANTITUMOR AGENT

A platinum complex which comprises a cycloalkanediamine platinum (II) residue being coordinated with a carboxyl group and/or a sulfuric acid group of chondroitin sulfate containing chondroitin-4-sulfate as a main component, which is electrophoretically uniform and has a platinum content of 5 % by weight or less and a solubility in water at 20 .degree.C of 10 mg/ml or more. A platinum complex having highly improved solubility in water and antitumor activity and organ selectivity to a liver, etc. is provided.
