The negative ion generator includes a first and a second input line (VCCL,GNDL) inputting a low DC voltage, a first output winding coil (NA) having an AC voltage input winding coil (NB), a high voltage transformer (HVT1) having a second output winding coil (NC) outputting a high voltage boosted from an input voltage, a transdriver supplying the low DC voltage to the NB and cutting off it, a transdriver control part (14) supplying a release puls to be output out of the NA to a control terminal (CTL), and a rectifying part (16) rectifying a high voltage to a negative high voltage and inputting it to the discharger (10).
