<p>A bicycle transmission device including a crankset (12) with at least one free-wheeling chain wheel (22) and at least one fixed chain wheel (20, 24). The rotary motion of the crankset is transmitted via a chain (14) to fixed sprockets (16, 17, 18) on the rear driving wheel (15). The rider selects the various chain wheels and sprockets by means of derailleurs, and is thus able to choose fixed drive transmission or freewheel drive transmission depending on the terrain.</p> |
