A device for significantly increasing the power of a bicycle or any pedal-powered mechanism. By using suitable mechanisms, the rider can add power to the upward phase (in addition to the downward phase) of the pedalling cycle, without his or her foot being fastened to the pedal, by urging upwards a main drive member which is automatically placed on the rider's thigh near the knee by a directional guide (cm). A rod (T) is guided accordingly by a wheel (t) along a guiding slot (ra). In this example, the main driving members are indicated by PMP. |
