Natural gas is desulpurised and sulphur is recovered in elemental form. Gas is cleaned by an adsorbent and the adsorbent is regenerated. Sulphur is recovered in regeneration process. Electrical power for the plant is supplied by a gas turbine which uses desulphurised gas as fuel. Process steam is supplied by means of rejected heat from the regeneration process. Gas turbine exhaust gases are used to dilute residual sulphur contaminated gases. |
