Series connected liquefied nitrogen bottles forming one unit. Multi-bottle unit (preferably four bottles) is mounted in housing, bottles being interconnected in series by gas pipes at top, liquid pipes at bottom. Single outlet pipe discharges gas from all bottles, single draw-off pipe supplies liquid nitrogen, e.g. to sprinklers of a refrigerated wagon. Bottles are filled by single pipe, preferably through vaporising heat exchanger. Whole assembly forms one transportable unit. |
