The material consists of a solid substrate which can be plasterboard, metal sheet or plywood joined to which is a layer of foam plastics which in turn is covered by a decorative layer of plastics or by fibre mat or textile material. The foam plastics is expanded from granular material which contains foaming agent at relatively low temp. Polypropylene powder can be used.
