Electrolysed coagulant contg. aluminium - for water treatment

Coagulant is produced by electrolysis of soln. containing strongly electrolytic salt (esp. NaCl) and strong acid (H2SO4 or esp. HCl) between electrodes of which at least one is Al anode. Method is efficient and product has high coagulating ability. Disadvantages of familiar processes are avoided. Apparatus is described, which can be made suitable for continuous production of soln. with constant concentration.
