Percarboxylic acid solutions which pass the SADT test with "at least 60 DEG C", preferably so-called equilibrium percarboxylic acid solutions, containing a percarboxylic acid, one or more solvents and at least one stabiliser, can be stabilised using tin compounds, preferably stannates, in an amount of at least 20 ppm, preferably 20 to 200 ppm, calculated as Sn, which are added immediately before preparation of the percarboxylic acid solutions from the carboxylic acid and aqueous hydrogen peroxide to one of the reactants and/or during and/or after the reaction to the reaction mixture. The percarboxylic acid solutions expediently additionally contain one or more stabilisers from other classes of substances, especially hydroxy and amino phosphonic acids and their salts. The percarboxylic acid solutions stabilised according to the invention pass the SADT test with "at least 60 DEG C". |
