In the one of the two alternating positions of the stop plates (21a) a transport stop (17) on the transport rod (15) pushes and in the other position draws a drying carriage (10). The stop device (20) incorporates a connecting part with which the two stop plates on both sides of the transport beam (11) are coupled to each other and to a counter weight (27) coupled to a connecting part. At both ends of the transport rod (15) is arranged a control stop (16). The stop device (20) through the influence of the counter weight (27) has two stable positions, whereby in the one of these the transport rod can move in relation to the transport beam and in the other the one stop plate locates against the transport stop (17) on the transport rod and produces transport movement of the drying carriage.
