A linear motion rolling guide unit is described which is able to constantly obtain high operating accuracy while suppressing sliding resistance to a low level without affecting the mounting state. The bottom surfaces (31g) of countersunk portions (31e) for insertion of fastening members (6) are formed so as to be positioned in the direction of said fastening either on a hypothetical extended surface (31h) or with respect to a hypothetical extended surface (31h) of one of two bearing surfaces (31c) of a track surface (31b) that is positioned in said direction of fastening of said fastening members (6). The opening angle of the track surface (31b) is not narrowed by the fastening of said fastening members (6), thus allowing high operating accuracy to be constantly obtained and sliding resistance to be suppressed to a low level.
