<p>The cosmetic case comprises a recess (10) into which the insert can be inserted. In order to lock the insert in the recess L-shaped grooves (24, 30) are provided in two opposing sides, in which projections arranged on the corresponding side surfaces of the insert can be guided. When the insert is inserted it is firstly lowered vertically and then shifted forwards, guided by the projections in the grooves (24, 30).
