PURPOSE:To produce a carbonic acid ester in high yield without using toxic raw materials and special reaction apparatuses. CONSTITUTION:A carbonic acid ester can be produced by reacting an alcohol with a chloroformic acid ester in the presence of at least one kind of compound selected from quinoline, isoquinoline and 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane. |
