PURPOSE:To prevent an air bag from being unfurled at the time of nonimpact. CONSTITUTION:This is sensor system is provided with two door switches 15, 16 which detect the opening or closing state of a side and in the case where an on-state of the door is detected by these switches 15 and 16, any operation of an air bag is prohibited, thereby preventing this air bag from being unnecessarily unfurled. In addition, when a fact that the door varies from the on-state to the off-state is detected, the air bag operation is prohibited as long as the specified time, and thereby any useless unfolding of the air bag due to an impact or the like in time of closing the door is brought to nothing. |
