PURPOSE:To ameliorate such an inconvenience that a tongue is sprung out of a buckle in the case where a mechanical buckle pretensioner, for getting rid of any looseness in a seat belt at the time of a car crash accident. CONSTITUTION:This buckle is provided with a slider 50 being slidably engaged with a latch 2 in the longitudinal direction and fitted with a stopper 42 capable of contacting with a specified weight mass 43 and a lock pin 10, and this slider 50 slides the latch 2 by means of relative movement through such a force that the mass 43 tries to rest, whereas the latch 2 tries to slide by dint of accelerating force when a buckle is pulled down, whereby the 42 comes into contact with the lock pin 10 and locked to the latch 2, checking any movement of the lock pin 10. |
