PURPOSE:To prevent fluctuation of the vertical position of the surface of an image recording sheet by a simple constitution in a carrying device where the image recording sheet is moved with high accuracy while being closely in contact with the carrying belt surface by the magnetic force. CONSTITUTION:A magnet means 10 which is provided to the rear surface side of a carrying belt 8 where an image recording sheet 4 is loaded on its surface and carried consists of a belt supporting member 16 which is provided with alternately supporting surface parts 12 which are brought into contact with the rear surface side of the carrying belt 8 and support the carrying belt 8 at the specified height and recessed parts 14 which are provided lower than the supporting surface part 12 in a recessed manner, and magnet bodies 18 which are provided in a non-contact manner with the rear surface of the carrying belt 8 within the respective recessed parts 14 of the belt supporting member 16.
