PURPOSE:To provide a four-wheel drive vehicle in which the work processes for front case mounting bolts attached to a first accelerator case for a trans- axle can be reduced and the maintenance inspection of a transfer chain for elongation can be simplified. CONSTITUTION:In a four-wheel drive vehicle with a transfer accelerator 2 having a transfer part composed of a transfer input shaft 52 and a transfer output shaft 54 that are parallel to each other and a transfer chain 56 that links these shafts, front case mounting bolts 66 for mounting a transfer front case 20 are provided for a first accelerator case 12, and a protruding part 100 having a length that allows its tip face to approximately abut the internal face of a transfer rear case 22 when the transfer front case 20 is attached to the head part of the front case mounting bolt 66 in that internal site of the transfer front case 20 which is surrounded by the transfer chain 56.
