<p>Racket for competitions in which the frame 18 is provided with a first and a second series of holes 32, 34 for passing strings and in which each hole of the second set 34 is situated between two adjacent holes of the first set 32. The external circumferential surface 26 is provided with a first and second set of string reception slits 28, 30. The external ends of the first and second sets of said holes 32, 34 respectively are situated in pairs in said slits of the first set 28 and of the second set 30. A string is threaded in such a way as to pass through each pair of adjacent holes of the same set to pass on the annular surface 20 of the frame 18 and in such a way that the sections of string which connect two adjacent holes are held in the string reception slits.
