<p>Resistance welding process where an electrical signal is produced which is dependent on the energy consumed in the work-piece and as soon as the energy loss in the work-piece has achieved a given value the welding current is interrupted to produce this signal, a signal is deduced which is dependent on the voltage at the work-piece, together with a signal which is dependent on the current flowing through the work-piece and these two signals are multiplied to give a resultant signal which is an indication of the power.</p> |
