PURPOSE:To attain smallness in size and lightness in weight of a device total unit while surely supporting a pinion gear and further to improve durability and quietness of the pinion gear. CONSTITUTION:A differential gear comprises the first side gear 17, second side gear 19, first pinion gear 29 formed with the first gear part 33 meshed with the first side gear 17 in one end and the second gear part 35 in the other end and the second pinion gear 31 formed with in one end the third gear part 37 meshed with the first gear part 33 and in the other end with the fourth gear part 39 meshed with the second side gear 19 and also with the second gear part 35. In this differential gear, a plurality of pairs of receiving holes 21a, 21b, 23a, 23b, having a predetermined space along the periphery of the first/second shaft holes 13, 15, are formed in a side wall in one end side and in a side wall in the other end side, to rotatably support the first/second pinion gears 29, 31 in this receiving hole and also to mesh the gears with each other.
