<p>PURPOSE:To carry out the control of a plate crown with higher accuracy without control lag by correcting a cross angle at the adjacent stand on the downstream side through feed forward control in accordance with a detected signal of a crown meter equipped between stands. CONSTITUTION:When a crown meter 3 is equipped between fourth and fifth stands No.4, No.5 of a six-stands tandem mill, an actual amount of plate crown is detected on the outlet side of the fourth stand No.4, that is, on the inlet side of the fifth stand No.5 and the plate crown is subjected to feed forward control at the fifth stand No.5 in accordance with the deviation between the detected value and the objective value. Consequently, a rolled stock 1 having plate crown nearer to the target plate crown can be supplied to the sixth stand of the last stand No.6. As a result, the plate crown of the final product on the outlet side of the sixth stand can be controlled all over the length of the rolled stock without delay so that a good product having plate crown drastically near the objective crown of the product is obtd.</p> |
