PURPOSE:To obtain a cement board A free from burning and carbonization of wood chip and forming a beautiful ceramic layer 3 having excellent weather resistance on the surface by irradiating inorganic powder 31 attached to the surface of hard wooden chip cement board with laser beam 6 and extremely quickly melting only the inorganic powder to form a ceramic layer 3. CONSTITUTION:An inorganic powder layer 31 and a hard wood chip cement board raw material layer 4 are pressurized with a plate-like body 1 on the lower side and a plate-like body 21 on the upper side and cement is cured in this state to produce a hard wood chip cement board to which an inorganic powder layer 31 is attached and then the inorganic powder layer 31 is melted by irradiating the layer 31 with laser beam 6 to form a ceramic layer 3 on the surface.
