PURPOSE:To obtain a water and oil repellent, a polishing agent, a setting agent or a lubricant having excellent water and oil repellency, durability, weather resistance, antifouling properties, etc., comprising a poly- or partial fluoroalkyl group-containing esterified product. CONSTITUTION:Water and oil repellent, polishing agent, setting agent or lubricant blended with an esterified product containing a poly- or partial fluoroalkyl group of formula I to formula V (R is 30-70C alkyl; (a) is 4-20 integer; (b) is 0 or <=4; (c) is 4-8 integer; (d) and (e) are the same or closely resemble and (d+e) is 0 or <=4 integer; at least three of Ys are F and the rest is H) is obtained by esterifying 30-70C aliphatic saturated alcohol with a fluorine- containing carboxylic acid, such as polyfluorocaprylic acid 30-70C alkyl ester. Optionally car waxes, cleaners for leather or plastic additives using the esterified product can be provided. |
