PRODUCTION OF NONINFECTIOUS STRUCTURE PARTICLE CONTAINING SURFACE ANTIGEN PROTEIN OF VIRUS BELONGING TO FAMILY FLAVIVIRUS

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a process for the mass-production of live Japanese encephalitis vaccine. CONSTITUTION:A cell infected with a virus belonging to the family Flavivirus is infected with a recombinant vaccinia virus integrated with a cDNA coding essentially total prM(M) protein originated from a virus of the family Flavivirus and coding essentially total surface antigen protein. The infected cell is cultured to obtain a large amount of non-infectious structure particles.
