<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of deviation in a plate thickness in the width direction of a rolled stock by detecting thrust force developed in a backup roll of a work roll cross rolling mill, correcting and controlling the rolling reduction force at the work side and the drive side. CONSTITUTION:At the time of rolling, upper and lower work rolls 2 are mutually crossed, and by both rolling reduction cylinders 4, while executing the rolling reduction from the work side W and the drive side D, a rolled stock 1 is rolled. In order to execute gage meter system plate thickness control, rolling reduction signals PW, PD at the work side W and the drive side D detected by rolling reduction detectors 5, cylinder displacement signals DELTAyW, DELTAyD at the work side W and the drive side D detected by rolling reduction position detectors 6 and further, backup roll thrust force FTB detected by a thrust force detector 11 are received and an arithmetic processing is executed by a control device 12. As a result, both servo valves 9 are worked through servo amplifiers 8, and by adjusting the rolling reduction force, the plate thickness control is executed.</p> |
