<p>PURPOSE:To provide a golf club head having a superwide area by enlarging the sweet area of the head. CONSTITUTION:A face 2 is provided on the front side of a golf club head and a shaft attaching portion 4 is provided on one side of the head. A weight 12 forming the sole 13 of the head is provided in the lower portion of a head main body 1 provided with the face 2. The head main body 1 is made of titanium or titanium alloy. The weight 12 is made of berylium-copper alloy or stainless steel. The center G of gravity of the head is biased to the weight 12 of large specific gravity and to the sole 13 and is therefore separated from the face 2. The distance L between the center G of gravity and the face 2 is extended, whereby the head with a superwide area is provided.</p> |
