PURPOSE:To obtain an artificial feed for culturing sea urchin having no elution, dispersion and collapse in sea water, slight influence on environment, having excellent intake of feed. CONSTITUTION:An artificial feed for culturing sea urchin formed into a laminar or sheetlike shape having 10-150g dry weight, 0.4-1.5cm thickness and 5.0-470cm<2> surface area at part to provide the maximum surface area. 100 pts.wt. artificial feed is blended with 1.0-2.0 pts.wt. sodium alginate and subjected to ionic crosslinking with a polyvalent alkali metal. |
