PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material wherein both of a retention property of a recording image and a traveling property in recording are excellent and its head abrasion is very little against a recording instrument using a serial head. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material wherein a recording layer containg a colorless or light color basic dye and a coloration agent, and a protective layer containing water soluble resin are successively provided, a three-dimensionally cross-linked polystyrene filter is contained in the protective layer. |
