CONSTITUTION:When the leakage of intake air takes place in an engine intake air system, since the air comes in also from the route besides a regular air intaking path, a measured quantity Qm of the air taken in from the regular air intaking path becomes smaller than a basic, intake air quantity that is calculated based on a throttle valve opening, and consequently a gear shifting point correction factor Kshift, or a ratio of Qm to the basic, intake air quantity, becomes greater than a value of 1.0. In addition, since the quantity of the air, which is actually taken into a combustion chamber, is greater than Qm, if the fuel is injected at a basic, injection rate, which is calculated based on Qm in such a manner that a target, air/fuel ratio is achieved, a shortage of fuel is caused, and an injection quantity correction factor FAF becomes greater than 1.0. In other words, when the leakage of intake air takes place, Kshift becomes nearly equal to a central value FAFav of FAF control. At this time, correction to the vehicle speed change by gear shifting is prohibited. Accordingly, wrong correction can be eliminated. |
