PURPOSE:To provide a falling-in-water person search support system for installation on a ship, which has excellent operability and is operable with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:The support system comprises a self-ship position detection means 10, such as a GPS receiver, for detecting the absolute position of a ship as a self-ship position, informing means 60, 71, 72, 73,..., such as a switch, wireless transmitting/receiving devices, for informing occurrence of a fall-in-water trouble, and a fall-in-water trouble occurrence information storage means 20, 30 for storing a newest self-ship position and a present time both of which are detected by the self-ship position detection means, as a fall-in-water trouble occurrence position and a fall-in-water trouble occurrence time. |
