PURPOSE:To facilitate automation and to manufacture a formed body with a good yield by removing a pressing punch while applying remaining pressure to a forming rubber mold. CONSTITUTION:Powder 10 is filled in the forming rubber mold 6 and housed in a pressure container 4. By fitting a conical rectangular protrusion 7b to an opening 6c, the powder 10 in the forming rubber mold 6 is filled in an airtight state. A pressing medium is introduced by pressure into the pressure container 4 from a pressure medium introducing hole 4f to press-form the powder 10 in the forming rubber mold 6. When a pressing punch 7 is elevated deviating from the opening 6c above it, the pressure in the pressure container 4 is set at specific remaining pressure so as to fasten the forming rubber mold 6 by a working rubber mold 5. Thus, an upper forming rubber mold 6a is not elevated together with the elevated pressing punch 7 to surely separate them each other.
