<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a hot-melt-containing W/O type emulsion ink capable of lightly carrying out foil transfer without requiring skill of printing at a low cost and a method for the foil transfer using the ink. CONSTITUTION:The objective hot-melt-containing W/O type emulsion ink comprises a fine particulate hot-melt adhesive dispersed in an oily phase or the oily phase and an aqueous phase. Furthermore, a method for foil transfer is characterized by forming an ink layer on a substrate to be transferred with the hot-melt-containing W/O type emulsion ink, superposing the ink layer on the foil for transfer and hot-pressing both.</p> |
