PURPOSE:To provide a detergent composition which contains, as essential components, specific amounts of an alkenylsuccinic acid derivative and a volatile or liquid amine, thus having adequate detergency against the stains sticking to hard surfaces without wiping residue, and excellent in contamination- preventing effect. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is essentially composed of (A) 0.001 to 30wt.% of a derivative of formulas I and II [R1, R2 are 8 to 18C alkyl; X is H, alkali metal salt, alkaline earth metal salt, ammonium salt which may be substituted], (B) 0.01 to 30wt.% of a volatile or liquid amine such as ammonia, monoethanol amine or diethanolamine, and further (C) 0 to 50wt.% of a water-soluble solvent of formula III to V (R3, R3' are H, 1 to 8C alkyl, where R3, R3' are simultaneously not H; (m), (n) are 0<=m<=3, 0<=n<=3, and (m), (n) are not 0 simultaneously; R4, R5 are 1 to 3C alkyl; R6 is 1 to 3C alkyl) or a monohydric alcohol of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, (D) 0 to 30wt.% of a sequestering agent, and (E) 0.001 to 10wt.% of a terpene hydrocarbon. |
