PRODUCTION OF CYTIDINE DIPHOSPHATE CHOLINE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain cytidine diphosphate choline (CDP-choline) from orotic acid and choline and/or phosphorylcholine. CONSTITUTION:The objective CDP-choline can be obtained with orotic acid and choline and/phosphorylcholine as substrates using (A) microorganisms having enzyme activity for choline phosphate cytidyltransferase (CCT) and cholinekinase (CKI) and cytidine-5'-triphosphate synthetase (pyrG) and (B) another kind of microorganisms having activity for producing uridine-5'-triphosphoric acid from orotic acid.
