PURPOSE:To reduce a risk of deposition by cladding a carbon contained Ag-Pb alloy of the specified content of C, Pb on a base metal so as to flow a large electric current for a brush of small electric motor. CONSTITUTION:The cladding alloy having a composition consisting of, by weight, 0. 01-1.0% C, 20-60% Pb, and the balance Al is formed to a ribbon shape and cladded on the center section of a base metal sheet of nickel silver, etc., which has the elasticity required for a spring sheet. This is rolled to a clad sheet, successively, repeating softening annealing and cold rolling to produce the prescribed thickness clad sheet. The clad sheet is slit longitudinally, subjecting to aging. And then the clad sheet is blanked and formed to the brush 5 for a small electric motor, in which Ag-Pb-C alloy 1B is embedded in the whole width of nickel silver. Alao the clad sheet is used for a commutator material of opposing contact, electric contacts, etc. |
