PURPOSE:To bring a vehicle to a reliable stop and to apply no stress to a rotor during parking. CONSTITUTION:Motors 24, 25 are provided in a driving unit case 10, and a differential gear device 23 is operated by the rotation generated in the motors 24, 25. The rotation from the differential unit 23 is transmitted to driving shafts 56, 57 through shafts to run a vehicle. A parking gear 66 is provided on a differential unit case 51 of the differential device 23, and the gear 66 can be locked selectively. When the parking gear 66 is locked at the time of parking of the vehicle, torque transmitted from wheels through the differential device 23 is transmitted to the case 51 and locked on the driving device case 10 and transmitted no further.
