PURPOSE:To enable to produce carbon material of high flatness with high productibity by a HIP treatment. CONSTITUTION:The production process comprises the steps off prelimilary sintering a shaped body of a carbon raw material at 1000-2000 deg.C and a heat- treating by heating the obtained carbon shaped body at 2000-3000 deg.C by a hot isostatic pressing pressure device using a weight made of tantalum carbide. In the case that the heating temperature by the hot isostatic pressing pressure device is 2000-2400 deg.C, tungsten carbide can be used as the weight. |
