PURPOSE:To dismantle a reservoir easily without revolving it by giving a cut spirally into the side wall of reservoir from its bottom toward the top, cutting through to the bottom, removing the splinter produced and repeating this cycle of operations. CONSTITUTION:The side wall 2 of a cylindrical reservoir 1 is cut away from the bottom plate 3, and a cut is given spirally from the cut start point at the side wall bottom toward the top, and when a certain distance is cut, the direction is changed so that the cutting proceeds through to the bottom followed by removable of the splinter produced, and this cycle of operation is repeated by starting with next spiral cut so as to cover up to the top. To facilitate the next cutting, the side wall bottom is provisionally supported by a plurality of jacks 7, which are moved with progress of the removing operation, and the reservoir 1 is sunk while the whole construction of the same is well balanced, and this cycle of operations is repeated to lead to completion of the dismantling the reservoir 1. |
