<p>PURPOSE:To satisfactorily maintain the potential of a recording sheet after its electrification and to prevent deterioration of image quality by insulating a sheet feed roller from the frame ground of the device main body. CONSTITUTION:Four photosensitive bodies 1-4 are provided. The photosensitive bodies are electrified by their respective electrifying chargers, 7-10, then electrostatic latent images are formed by optical devices 11-14 on the surfaces of the photosensitive bodies. The electrostatic latent images are developed by developing devices 15-18 using toners in different colors. Subsequently the developed images are sent to a carrying path by the sheet feed roller 28 arranged in such a manner that it is insulated from the frame ground 30 of the device main body, then transferred to a recording sheet 5 which is carried after it has been electrified by a transfer charger 26, thereby recording a color image.</p> |
