<p>PURPOSE:To provide a transfer device with no necessity for space for excessive parts and formed compact by supporting an arm which is supporting a transfer roll to be freely rotated to be freely rocked on a shaft of a resist roll. CONSTITUTION:A transfer sheet 5 is fed against a visual image on an image carrier 1 by starting of rotation of the resist roll 6 with some timing in between and the sheet is fed to a transfer position by the image carrier 1 after being passed through a carrying path 9 formed by an upper guide plate 7 and a lower guide plate 8. The upper guide plate 7 and the lower guide plate 8 are constituted so that the transfer sheet is correctly fed to the transfer position. The transfer roll 10, in a pressurized contact with the image carrier 1, has both its edges supported to be freely rotated on a tip of the arm 11 in the transfer position. Then, the arm 11 supporting the transfer roll 10 is supported by the shaft of the resist roll 6, to feed the transfer sheet to the image carrier 1 at the specified timing, to be freely rotated. Therefore, the economical and compact device without necessitating independent supporting parts or space for rotational support of the arm 11 is provided.</p> |
