PURPOSE:To provide an electrophotographic printer which does not influence the pressing force of a photosensitive drum and an intermediate transfer drum when a heating roll press-contacts with the intermediate transfer drum. CONSTITUTION:This electrophotographic printer 1 is provided with the photosensitive drum 11, a means A for forming a latent image on the photosensitive drum based on printing information, a developing means 20 which develops the latent image on the photosensitive drum with toner to obtain a toner image, the intermediate transfer drum 31 which is allowed to press-contact with the photosensitive drum and on which the toner image on the photosensitive drum is transferred, a means 70 for carrying a recording medium P on which the toner image on the intermediate transfer drum is transferred in/out the intermediate transfer drum, and the heating roll 51 which is allowed to press-contact with the intermediate transfer drum through the recording medium. In the electrophotographic printer 1; the photosensitive drum 11, the intermediate transfer drum 31 and the heating roll 51 are arranged so that an axial line La linking between the drum 11 and the drum 31 may be orthogonally crossed or substantially orthogonally crossed with an axial line Lb linking between the drum 31 and the roll 51. |
