发明名称 INERT GAS SUPPLYING MECHANISM FOR FUEL CELL
摘要 PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the gas in a normal inert gas bomb by providing a pressure detecting means on the normal inert gas bomb, transmitting an output signal for emergency stop to a fuel cell by a spare bomb, when the detected pressure is less than a determined value, to open and close a solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION:In addition to a normal inert (nitrogen) gas bomb 30, a spare inert (nitrogen) gas bomb 32 is separately provided. A normally closed solenoid valve 40 is interposed in a line L4 for inert gas extending from the spare nitrogen bomb 32 to a fuel cell. The reduced pressure state of the normal nitrogen gas bomb 30 is detected by an interposed pressure detecting means 36 to open and close the solenoid valve 40 through a line L5. When the pressure is larger than a determined value, the solenoid valve 40 remains closed, and the fuel cell also continues general operation. On the other hand, when the pressure becomes the determined value or less, the solenoid valve 40 is opened, and the fuel cell is urgently stopped at the same time. Since the content of the normal gas bomb 30 is used up to about zero pressure, thus, the effective use can be performed without increasing the number of bombs.
