PURPOSE:To obtain an optimal conversion word corresponding to an area for inputting reading, in the document preparing device provided with a KANA (Japanese syllabary) to KANJI (Chinese character) converting function. CONSTITUTION:In the document preparing device for outputting conversion word information corresponding to reading information by referring to a KANA to KANJI converting dictionary 14, a KANA to KANJI conversion control part 13 refers to a table 15 and decides an area to which reading information is inputted by inputting the present cursor position information from a cursor position detecting part 19. In the case its area is regular area, the KANA to KANJI conversion control part 13 outputs conversion word information, based on learning information. In the case its area is a specific area, the KANA to KANJI conversion control part 13 outputs the conversion word information corresponding to the specific area by taking precedence of the learning information. |
