A cut-out sheet of material forms the tray bottom (30) whose two opposite sides are connected to two longitudinal faces (31,32). These faces are extended by flaps (321,322,311,312). The other two sides of the bottom are extended by lateral panels (33,34) in which cut-outs (331,341) correspond to the fitting of a handle. Having assembled the longitudinal faces and flaps a reinforcing assembly is fitted to each end of the tray. This assembly has a U-section groove and tightly fits each lateral panel (33,34) and the adjacent flaps of each longitudinal face (31,32). An articulated handle on the central part of the groove is inserted in the cut-outs (331,341) in the lateral panels and the flaps. ADVANTAGE - Reinforcing the tray making it more rigid and incorporates carrying handles at each end.
