A permanent magnet 2h which has mutually opposite magnetic poles in the axial direction is arranged while energized in one direction by a compression spring 2j movably to the inner periphery of a connector-connected coupling nut 2b so that a magnetic field which rotates the plane of polarization in a specific direction is applied to a Faraday rotator 2f arranged between a polarizer 2e and an analyzer 2g, when the coupling number is disconnected, the magnetic field is switched to the reverse direction to stop the emerging light from the analyzer. |
