摘要 PURPOSE:To minimize the re-transmission ratio and to improve the transmission efficiency by allowing a ground station to dynamically change a burst slot number of a transmission object based on transmission error information and re-transmission request information from a center station in the time division multiple address (TDMA) communication system. CONSTITUTION:A small sized ground station 2 or the like connecting to a center station 1 via a communication satellite 5 by TDMA communication uses a slot number control section 14 to change dynamically a number of slots for a TDMA burst being a transmission object based on either or both of transmission error information and re-transmission request information from the station 1 via a reception circuit 9. The scale of data re-transmission using a satellite is minimized, the line utility and multiplexing ratio are enhanced and the transmission efficiency is improved by adopting the configuration such that number of transmission enable slots is dynamically and continuously changed in response to a change in the line utility corresponding to number of the transmission error ratio and the re-transmission request similarly to the case with small sized ground stations 3, 4.
