<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an insulator built-in type photo voltage sensor which can a ready-made standard insulator, allows the device to be assembled and adjusted easily, has a large designing freedom according to a voltage to be measured and a required measurement accuracy, and is suitable for measuring a high voltage. CONSTITUTION:Both edge parts of a porcelain tube 4 where an insulation fluid is enclosed are sealed by means of first and second flanges 1 and 14 and then a high-voltage electrode 6 and a low-voltage electrode 6' are fixed to the first and the second flanges 1 and 14. Also, a sensor part 7 with the Pockels element is laid out between the high-voltage electrode 6 and the low-voltage electrode 6' and a sensor part 7 is supported by an element-mounting stand support 9 and then is fixed to the first flange 1 or the second flange 14. When a voltage to be measured is applied between the high-voltage electrode 6 and the low- voltage electrode 6', an optical signal which is transmitted through an optical fiber 10 by a measuring part is subjected to light-intensity modulation by the Pockels element of the sensor part 7, is transmitted to the measuring part through the optical fiber, and is converted into an electrical signal.</p> |
