<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a method and a device for liquefying and separating air, in which the state of a fractionating column is kept under the best state at all times, from which each product gas, particularly argon gas is acquired with a high yield and which can correspond to the demand fluctuation of oxygen gas by a simple device constitution. CONSTITUTION:When the demand of product oxygen gas is increased, a part of raw material air is heat-exchanged with liquefied oxygen in a liquefied- oxygen storage tank 37, air is liquefied and stored in a liquefied-air storage tank 34, and liquefied oxygen is vaporized and introduced to an oxygen-gas supply system while the quantity of raw material air is augmented. When the demand of product oxygen gas is reduced, a part of product oxygen gas is heat-exchanged with liquefied air in a liquefied-air storage tank 34, oxygen is liquefied and stored in the liquefied-oxygen storage tank 37, and liquefied air is vaporized and introduced to a raw material air system while the quantity of raw material air is lowered.</p> |
