PURPOSE:To improve the operability when a font to be used is set, to provide the security of the set font, and to prevent an illegal copying act. CONSTITUTION:The font name for specifying the font is set in a specific memory. Further, '1' is set in a variable counter ct. Then the font name of (ct)th font data specified by the counter ct is compared with the specified font name and when they do not match each other, the value of the ct is increased by one and the font name of (ct)th font data is compared again with the specified font name. When the font names match each other during the comparison, the permission flag of an EEPROM corresponding to the value of the ct is checked and when the permission flag is '1', a font is allowed to be used and the current font is switched to the permitted font. |
