PURPOSE:To provide the message transfer system capable of utilizing storage capacity connected to the network as much as possible and smoothly performing alternative processing. CONSTITUTION:In the message transmission system having plurar storage means 6 holding a message box 6, the message box with the larger message storage amount is detected. An auxiliary message box for at least one of them is prepared for another storage means, copying the message on it. When the message box can not be available, the auxiliary message for the message box not to be used is prepared to another storage means. When the message box can not be available, the availability is confirmed for each registered auxiliary message box. When it is or they are not available, a new auxiliary message box is prepared for another storage means. |
